Better building takes a well-built team.

Grant Robbins | Principal

Grant founded Robbins|Reed in 2007 and his enthusiasm for connecting with people is real. Grant started framing houses as a high school student. Twenty-five years later his collective construction expertise allows us to develop solutions to complex challenges. Grant ensures the business is engaged with the local community as a member of the SLO Chamber of Commerce. A self-proclaimed “construction nerd”, he can’t but smile stepping onto a job site. Lucky for us, Grant just might be the sharpest tool in our shed.

Adam Strauss | Superintendent

Adam’s drive takes us to great heights. He’s proud of the solid working relationships he’s built with local owners, architects, engineers and vendors over the past two decades in construction management. Clients value Adam’s understanding of both large commercial and residential developments. He thrives in fast paced environments. Good luck trying to peel him off his mountain bike on the weekend. Favorite projects all happen to be located in wine country, including Vina Robles, Niner Wine Estates and Law Family Winery.

Tayler Simpson | Management Consultant

To say Tayler loves hockey is an understatement — he’s Canadian after all. His experience in the construction industry spans nearly a decade. Tayler earned a Masters of Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland after graduating from Niagra University with a degree in Finance and Economics. His ability to listen makes him a standout partner to work with. Tayler trusts his instincts and embraces new challenges. He thrives on creating value-add strategies to demanding projects and builds on success.

With thirty years in construction and certifications in Rigging, Overhead Crane Systems, and OSHA Industrial Safety—we rely on Dan to get things done. Having worked in the majority of construction trades, his experience spans from sawmills to circuit box installation. Always looking to improve efficiency, Dan is the man to manage complex projects. Raised in a family of remodeling/construction experts, he grew up on the North Shore of Lake Ontario. Today this father of four is stoked to swim, ski, and play tennis right here in California.
